Plisio Review 2026: Fees, Account Risks and Who It Suits

Plisio is worth a look for an eligible shop that wants crypto invoices or a store plugin, as long as its account terms and handling of your money work for you. Plisio publishes 0.5% for BTC API payments; other assets and white label can cost more. The harder questions are who signs your agreement, who controls the money and how you get usable proceeds. Its no-document marketing has limits that depend on the product, and we couldn't verify bank settlement. We'd settle those questions before using it for sales you depend on.

Our verdict
Plisio

Plisio has useful invoices, store integrations and bulk crypto payouts, and a low published rate for BTC API payments. Its fees differ by asset, its claims about identity and who controls your funds conflict, and we couldn't verify which company you'd contract with. We'd consider it only once you have an approved account, a complete price and a clear picture of how money reaches you.

Best for
  • Eligible shops that want crypto invoices on a listed store platform
  • Businesses that can confirm which asset and network they'd receive
  • Developers comparing an API with a branded payment screen

Not for
  • Owners who need confirmed bank settlement before choosing
  • Businesses counting on a 0.5% stablecoin price
  • Anyone expecting no identity questions or unrestricted access to their balance
  • Shops that need a proven refund process for completed sales

How we reviewed this

We read the sources listed below on 14 October 2026: Plisio's fee pages, its linked policies and transaction documentation, WordPress.org, a company record and public user reports. We didn't open an account, install a plugin, contact support or send money. The examples are hypothetical arithmetic. Scores follow the published methodology and don't verify an account offer or payment performance.

Who is Plisio worth considering for?

Plisio is a candidate for a shop that's comfortable receiving crypto and has confirmed it's eligible for an account. Its invoices and integrations are a starting point. What matters is whether your customers can pay at checkout, whether the proceeds arrive where you can use them, and who answers when an order goes wrong.

If your customers mainly hold stablecoins, look at those tariffs first. If your suppliers expect bank transfers, settlement matters more than the homepage percentage. A cheap payment won't cover tomorrow's bill if you can't use the proceeds.

The processor selection guide helps you prepare questions about the account and how you'd receive money.

How much does Plisio charge?

The price depends on the product, asset and network, so 0.5% isn't a flat Plisio rate. The detailed fee FAQ publishes BTC API payments at 0.5%, BTC white label at 1.5%, and BSC USDT and USDC at 1% through the API or 2% with white label.

Take a hypothetical $100-equivalent payment: the fee is 50 cents through the BTC API and $1.50 with BTC white label. These are percentage calculations in dollars, with no BTC exchange rate assumed.

payments use Plisio's standard integration. adds your own invoice design and keeps customers on your site instead of redirecting them, as its white-label page describes. The shorter fee FAQ explains the generic 1.5% as 0.5% for invoicing plus 1% for white label, and lets the store assign the fee to itself or the customer.

The calculator below covers BTC API payments only, for an eligible, configured account where the merchant pays the commission. It doesn't price white label, other assets, mass payouts or cash-out, and it leaves out the costs listed above.

  • Plisio

Published rate estimates only. Provider minimums, network, conversion, bank and account charges may be extra.

The fee is only one budget line. The wider fee calculator explains why unknown deductions still need pricing. Plisio's pricing page advertises free account opening and maintenance, which doesn't cover every movement of money.

What would a $10,000 month cost?

For qualifying BTC API payments, $10,000 of monthly sales produces a $50 fee, whether that's 100 orders of $100 or fewer, larger ones. That holds only if your agreed terms and any per-payment costs left out here don't change.

The receipt below is a BTC API fee-only illustration. Its net is a dollar-equivalent subtotal before the costs listed above, not cash credited to your bank.

BSC stablecoins work out differently. On $10,000 equivalent, 1% gives $100 and 2% white label gives $200, with no token-to-dollar peg assumed. The slider above doesn't use those rates.

The curve uses the same BTC API-only assumptions on a $10,000-equivalent month. Its flat line is only percentage arithmetic, so check small orders against any minimum-fee clause.

BTC API fee illustration by order size
Plisio
Effective fee · $10,000/mo

Don't compare this BTC subtotal with another provider's full stablecoin-and-bank quote. The fee calculator gives fee estimates once you pick your asset.

Which fee details still need an answer?

Several published rows don't give enough to calculate a bill. The fee table mixes minimum amounts and up-to percentages for ERC-20 tokens, TRON USDT and TON, and we couldn't tell whether those words mean a floor, an addition or a cap. Don't guess the formula.

Ask for worked examples at a small, a typical and a large order. A minimum invoice amount is the smallest payment allowed; a minimum fee is the smallest charge. Plisio's minimums FAQ gives coin or token amounts for incoming invoices, balance deposits and outgoing transfers, so you can't convert them by assuming a token equals a dollar.

The detailed table also lists API mass payouts and API cash-out at 0.5%. Another 0.5% may not come off every sale you accept, so find out which operation your setup uses, what the fee is based on and how network charges are applied.

Plisio's withdrawal FAQ describes variable network charges and Normal and Priority plans. Its fee-estimation documentation takes an asset, destination, amount and plan and gives no single fixed transfer cost. The response examples it publishes aren't live quotes.

Does Plisio require identity verification?

The homepage prominently advertises no identity proof for ordinary use, but the mass-payout instructions include account registration and identity verification before businesses can use that service. Those claims are about different products, so neither means everyone stays anonymous or that every ordinary merchant must pass full business verification. If paying affiliates matters to you, don't treat a quick checkout signup as the whole onboarding.

questions can come up later than signup. Plisio's terms name a specific trigger for identity requests, a suspected hacked account, rather than a general business-verification requirement for every merchant.

The linked privacy policy allows personal information, stored account and transaction data, and retention for legal or legitimate business purposes. We wouldn't take the homepage's no-data language as a guarantee that records disappear after a sale.

  2. 02

  4. 04

Can Plisio pay dollars or euros into your bank?

We couldn't verify a current bank-settlement offer, so don't choose Plisio assuming an invoice currency turns into a bank transfer. Its WooCommerce product page describes merchants receiving cryptocurrency only, while the general FAQ on the same page claims fiat conversion.

The fiat appendix lists 167 denomination rows, including old currency codes and metal units. They let the documentation describe amounts, but that's not 167 bank-payout currencies. Plisio's own comparison blog promotes fiat settlement too, without saying how a bank payment would work.

Ask where the converted balance sits, which company sends it, which bank currencies you can use, and what minimum, charge and arrival time apply. If an exchange or partner is involved, you'll need its approval and its price too. A shop can receive crypto fine and still be unable to pay a supplier from its bank that week.

StageWhat it tells youWhat it leaves open
Invoice priced in dollarsThe sales amount shown to the customerDollar bank settlement
Crypto credited to a platform accountA balance shown in the accountUnrestricted withdrawal or receipt in your own wallet
Crypto received in your own walletAn asset you can manage thereFiat value realised after exchange costs
Bank creditFunds available in that accountWhether earlier claims of instant processing included bank arrival

Plisio's documentation describes single and mass withdrawals to crypto addresses, with a choice of fee plans. Plan your bills around funds you can withdraw, not the balance on a dashboard.

Who controls the funds, and can access stop?

Plisio's public material doesn't show a purely direct-wallet flow for every product. Some product text promises forwarding without holding funds, while the terms describe service wallets and control over account access.

puts the service's release process inside your cash flow. Plisio's terms allow account suspension, changes to transaction limits and regulator-requested freezes. Access to a remaining balance after closure is qualified by law or court order, and no release deadline is given.

Ask whether proceeds enter a Plisio-controlled balance, whether forwarding is automatic or on request, and what happens if the account or your destination is restricted. A transfer setting isn't proof that money reaches your own wallet directly.

Plisio advertises two-factor authentication, trusted-IP controls and 90% cold storage. helps protect account access. The 90% figure is Plisio's own claim, not an independent audit, insurance or a promise that theft can't happen. Its public bug-bounty program invites vulnerability reports, which isn't a security certification.

Who runs Plisio, and is it licensed?

We couldn't confirm the contracting company's jurisdiction, address or licence. The homepage footer names Plisio, Inc., and the provider's Manchester claim points to the UK, but neither confirms which country the operator is in.

Companies House shows PLISIO LTD, number 12374919, dissolved on 29 June 2021, as checked on 14 October 2026. We found no source connecting that company to today's Plisio, Inc., so the dissolution says nothing about the operating service or its licence.

The terms and privacy policy Plisio currently links to still carry 12 March 2019 dates, so ask for the agreement that would govern your account, with the signing company and its jurisdiction named.

Licence
Plisio does not name a licence on the pages we checked.

We haven't verified a licence for the company that would provide your account, which also leaves open whether every Plisio activity is licensed. The company in your agreement should match an official register entry that lists the services you'd use. If Plisio can't name it, the question stays open. This is general information, not legal advice.

Which coins and networks can customers use?

The API appendix lists 28 network-specific rows, including USDT on Ethereum, TRON, BSC, TON and Solana, and USDC on Ethereum, Base, BSC and Solana. It says support is limited to the choices available in the Dashboard, so check which asset and network are enabled in your account before offering them at checkout.

That's documentation, not a live catalog, and repeated networks aren't extra coins. Marketing counts also differ: the pricing page lists 12 asset names, the homepage says 15+, and the WordPress listing advertises 50+ additional currencies.

A is part of the payment instruction. Your customer needs the right chain as well as the right ticker, and USDT sent on one chain doesn't match a receiving address set up for another.

We couldn't verify the current issuer or checkout status of the BUSD and TUSD references, so don't pick them from an old logo list. If your customers mostly use Tether, compare the cost of the specific network, not just the token name.

Does Plisio work with WooCommerce or Shopify?

WooCommerce has a public plugin listing from Plisio; Shopify needs more confirmation. Plisio's integration catalog has 19 platform headings, seven server libraries and four client tools. The headings include shops, billing systems and forums, so don't read them as nineteen tested store installations.

WordPress.org lists plisio as publisher, with version 2.0.6, 1,000+ active installations, an update label of about eight months and a tested-up-to version of 6.5.13. It warns that the plugin hasn't been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases. That's listing metadata, not our own compatibility or security test, and the warning is no evidence that the plugin is abandoned or vulnerable.

Shopify appears in Plisio's general product FAQ but isn't a heading in the integration list. Before budgeting a Shopify project, find out exactly which package or method Plisio supports; a platform mention doesn't tell your developer who maintains it.

Plisio's getting-started guide describes creating an account, configuring currencies, integrating and checking payments and orders. It gives no setup time and doesn't say whether a sandbox is available, so ask where your developer can test safely and whether approval comes first.

  1. 01

    Match the store

Identify which package, versions and extensions your checkout uses.

  2. 02

    Match the sale

Check the agreed asset, network, amount, commission setting and expiry shown to the customer.

  3. 03

    Match the order record

Confirm payment notifications update the right order once, including delayed or repeated messages.

  4. 04

    Match the exceptions

Agree what happens with short payments, expiry, customer returns and interrupted notifications.

Keep another payment method available while you roll it out to a few orders. A payment screen on your site says nothing about whether orders are recorded correctly, proceeds arrive as agreed or your team can handle returns. The CoinGate and NOWPayments comparison shows how store tools and receiving needs can pull in different directions.

What happens with short payments, expiry and refunds?

Plisio documents payment exceptions, but we couldn't verify a complete refund process for ordinary sales. Your returns policy has to cover more than whether a sent blockchain payment can be reversed.

The invoice documentation covers expiry, confirmation counts, signed payment notifications and changing payment statuses. Let the decide whether an order ships; Plisio's update guide describes sending those updates to your shop's configured URL. A buyer landing back on your success page isn't enough to dispatch goods.

The underpayment FAQ allows a configured tolerance and some manual completion after expiry, but payments below 95% can't be completed manually and are credited as underpaid after the waiting period. That's more precise than the invoice documentation's simple completed or fully paid wording.

Plisio's cancellation FAQ says a sent payment can't be undone, though the recipient can make a return. The WordPress listing advertises invoice refunds without seller involvement, so saying no refund tools exist would be too strong. But the listing doesn't cover full or partial refunds after a completed sale, what happens to the original fee, network costs or return timing.

Ask how a return gets started, how the destination is verified, how the repaid amount is recorded against the original order, and how late, wrong-network and very small payments are handled before you promise customers recovery. Note that bulk payouts aren't the same as automatic subscription collection.

Are adult, gaming or other high-risk businesses accepted?

Plisio markets to several sectors, which is a long way from approving your particular business. Its homepage names adult and high risk, and its own comparison promotes iGaming. Neither gives an individual merchant decision or a full current sector policy.

The terms require lawful use and purposes Plisio approves, and the sanctions declarations cover more than the merchant's own country. The contract is dated and isn't a current list of country laws, and we found no process for submitting your business for approval. So get a decision covering your activity, company, owners, customers and how you'd be paid.

Describe what you sell accurately, especially if you collect other businesses' money, run gambling products or sell regulated financial services, because those raise permission questions that general finance or games marketing leaves open. Our high-risk merchant guide covers the approval conversation.

What do support and user reviews tell you?

Plisio's homepage advertises 24/7 live chat, and its contacts page lists chat and email. We haven't measured replies or found a resolution deadline, so round-the-clock chat leaves open when a missing credit or restricted withdrawal will be fixed.

Trustpilot displayed 2.9 from 406 reviews, including 101 in the last twelve months. The profile showed 54% five-star and 37% one-star, with no replies to negative reviews. That's a mixed public record, not a merchant failure rate.

The visible reviews include payment praise, a minimum-amount concern that reads like a merchant's, and buyers complaining about purchases. We can't verify who wrote them or what happened, and we haven't done a systematic survey. We don't repeat allegations as findings or infer regulatory status from Trustpilot's warning banner.

We haven't found a public incident history or measured uptime. If you depend on checkout never going down, decide who would notice a failure, who can switch the payment option off and what to tell customers while it's looked into.

What are Plisio's main pros and cons?

Pros
  • BTC API payments have a published rate, and white label is priced on its own.
  • Invoicing and payment-status notifications are published.
  • It has store and billing integrations, including a public WooCommerce listing.
  • Bulk crypto payouts are available, with identity requirements listed.
  • Fee-estimation tools are published for planning transfers.
  • It advertises account security controls and runs a public vulnerability-reporting program.
Cons
  • There's no flat 0.5% price: rates differ by asset, and minimum-fee clauses apply.
  • We couldn't verify the contracting company's jurisdiction, address or licence.
  • We couldn't verify bank settlement or the full cost of getting to usable fiat.
  • Its direct-wallet marketing conflicts with the terms on account control and storage.
  • No-document marketing doesn't cover every product or every access situation.
  • We couldn't confirm completed-sale refunds, current plugin compatibility or support performance.

Which Plisio alternatives should you compare?

CoinGate is worth comparing if you need a bank payout, NOWPayments if you're an eligible business that wants payments sent to your wallet, and BTCPay Server if you can run your own payment software.

CoinGate Standard publishes a 1% fee, weekly settlements and a choice of EUR, GBP, USD or crypto payouts. Its country list and mandatory verification apply, and its commercial policy adds a risk margin to payment quotes without pricing it. The CoinGate review covers what to ask about banks, minimums and arrival.

NOWPayments publishes 1% for same-coin payments and 1.5% for conversion, fixed-rate or customer-paid settings, before network costs. Its terms, reviewed on 14 October 2026, exclude EU, UK, US and UAE residents or citizens and people located or resident in Russia, so check eligibility first. Our NOWPayments review covers how it pays you and its account limits.

BTCPay Server describes no software transaction fee and on-chain payments to an existing wallet without needing the wallet's private keys. Server hot wallets, Lightning and third-party hosting each carry their own control risks. You'd need someone to handle hosting, maintenance, wallet security and any conversion to bank money. It suits shops that want direct control and have the people to do that work.

Plisio FAQ

Is Plisio safe and legitimate?

Plisio's documents describe working payment tools, but we haven't verified its payment performance or which company and licence you'd be dealing with. We found no link between today's service and a dissolved UK company with a similar name. Confirm the agreement and how funds and incidents are handled before depending on it.

Does every Plisio payment cost 0.5%?

No. The detailed table lists BTC API payments at 0.5% and BTC white label at 1.5%, while BSC USDT and USDC have 1% and 2% rates respectively. Other rows use minimum-fee and up-to wording that isn't clear, and network, conversion, withdrawal and exception costs can come on top.

What does the calculator's $50 result include?

It shows $10,000-equivalent qualifying BTC API sales at 0.5%, with the merchant paying the commission. It isn't a stablecoin, white-label, payout or cash-out estimate, it leaves out the costs listed earlier, and its net isn't bank cash.

Does Plisio require KYC?

Ordinary-use marketing says no identity proof is needed, but mass payouts require business identity verification, and the terms include an identity trigger for an account believed hacked. Ask what your product requires at the start and what could restrict access later.

Can Plisio send proceeds to my bank?

We couldn't verify a current bank-settlement offer. WooCommerce product text says merchants receive crypto only, while the conversion claims in the general FAQ and Plisio's blog are broader. Fiat currency codes in the documentation are only labels for amounts. Ask who sends the money, in which currency, and with what minimums, charges and arrival time.

Are USDT and USDC available on every listed network?

Not necessarily. The API appendix lists several networks but says Dashboard availability controls support, so a pair can appear in a public row without being enabled on your account or supported by your receiving wallet. Check asset, network, invoice minimum and fee together before displaying a choice.

Does the WooCommerce plugin work with my current shop?

The public listing gives publisher and compatibility details, including a warning about recent WordPress releases. We haven't installed it or checked your theme and extensions, and a tested-up-to tag can't predict how your store will behave. Test order updates, expiry and returns in your own approved setup.

Can I refund a completed customer order?

Plisio's listing advertises invoice refunds, and although a sent payment can't be undone, the recipient can still make a return. We couldn't verify a full completed-sale process, including partial refunds, what happens to the original commission, destination checks, network charges and timing. A short-payment return is a different case from refunding a sale you've fulfilled.

Does no-document signup mean funds can't be held?

No. The terms allow account restrictions and describe qualified access to remaining funds after closure, and we found no maximum release deadline. Plan bills around usable proceeds, not a credited balance.

Which alternative should I investigate first?

Start with the requirement Plisio doesn't meet for you. CoinGate offers bank settlement, subject to country approval and verification. NOWPayments has wallet-payment options but excludes several major jurisdictions. BTCPay Server gives you direct-wallet software if you can run and secure it.
