Confirmo Review 2026: Fees, Bank Settlement and Who It Suits

Confirmo is worth shortlisting if your business wants managed crypto checkout and a euro or crypto payout you've been approved for. Its Irish invoice reference is 0.8%, before conversion, network and other costs. Moving your own balance and paying someone else are priced differently. A new Irish tariff takes effect in November, so get your account's agreement before you budget. It suits a verified business that's comfortable with Confirmo holding its balance. If you need direct wallet control or a firm promise on bank arrival, look elsewhere.

Our verdict
Confirmo
#3 Lowest fees · 2026#3 Stablecoins · 2026

Shortlist Confirmo if you're approved for business checkout and both its payout and its full quote fit your cash flow. The Irish 0.8% invoice fee is a useful reference, but the tariff version, the extras it doesn't price and bank arrival are still open. Subscribe and recipient payouts come with their own terms.

#4 of 27 · Best overall
Best for
  • Verified businesses that want managed crypto checkout
  • Approved merchants taking euros through a bank payout agreed up front
  • Shops that invoice customers and check sales against a balance Confirmo holds
  • Businesses weighing the subscription or recipient-payout products
Not for
  • Owners who need payments to land in a wallet only they control
  • Businesses that read a currency list as account approval
  • Shops budgeting from the processing percentage alone
  • Owners who need a guaranteed same-day bank deposit

Treat the figures below as an Irish business-invoice reference, assuming your company, activity, country and contract version qualify. They cover 0.8% processing and the 0% own-settlement service only. Quote and risk margins, network costs and minimums, bank and partner charges, account fees and the cost of refunds, recovery, exceptions or abandoned accounts are all left out, so what's left after fees isn't money released to you or in your bank.

How we reviewed this

We read Confirmo's public product pages, selected Irish contract sections, its upcoming fee schedules, subscription announcements and competitors' documents on 15 October 2026. The Irish tariff we treat as current comes from our earlier readings on 11 and 14 October, and the official register entries keep their September and October dates. The example figures are hypothetical calculations. We haven't opened an account, installed software or made payments.

What does Confirmo do for your business?

Confirmo collects crypto payments, credits them to a balance and helps you move that balance to a destination it has approved. This review uses Confirmo Limited's Irish business invoice service as its baseline. The Irish Terms cover business clients using its EU/EEA services, and the brand also has US, Dominican and UAE companies. Which one is responsible for you depends on your agreement.

Your customer gets an invoice, picks a supported coin and network, and sends the amount shown. Once the payment meets Confirmo's conditions, you're credited in the receiving asset you chose, so you can match the order against a balance instead of handling each customer's coin yourself. comes afterwards, and a paid order isn't the same as spendable bank money.

Confirmo advertises checkout, deposits and mass payouts, plus a subscription service. Its homepage claims 10+ currencies and 141 countries, which describes its advertised reach, not your enabled coins, permitted customers or receiving bank.

The Irish policy treats invoicing, settlement to your own destination and recipient transfers as different operations.

Can your company and activity qualify?

You need business approval, up-to-date company information and checks on the people behind the company. doesn't stop after onboarding: approval can be delayed, refused or suspended, and later requests for information can affect your access.

The published rules look at the company, its representatives and its beneficial owners, the people who ultimately own or control it. They also require lawful business activity and any permissions it needs. Confirmo keeps internal country and sector risk lists, so an industry page on its site isn't the whole approval policy.

That matters for the iGaming, forex, prop trading and payment-service businesses in its marketing. You may need your own licence, but even with one Confirmo may not approve your particular model. We couldn't find out whether adult and VPN businesses are accepted. And a business outside the Irish agreement can't borrow it just because the brand advertises international reach.

How much does Confirmo charge?

Take 0.8% for Irish invoice processing and 0% for its own-settlement service as a starting reference, then work out the full price for your account. The tariff behind them was updated on 19 December 2025 and took effect on 30 December. We read it earlier, not on 15 October. Recipient payouts carry their own 0.5% charge plus network costs.

A 0% own-settlement charge still leaves networks, banks and intermediaries to be paid, and sending your own proceeds to your wallet isn't automatically a recipient payout.

Which tariff applies today?

The main Irish schedule was updated on 2 October but is effective 1 November 2026, still ahead when we checked on 15 October. It repeats the service percentages and adds specific recovery wording, which may not apply to an October account yet.

The US LLC and Dominican SRL schedules are different documents, effective 16 October. The percentages match but the agreements don't: the SRL document, for example, lists an abandoned-account charge of the balance's full value, while the Irish document lists EUR 10 per month. Both were still ahead on 15 October.

The posted Irish Terms already mention USD 100 plus network costs for recovered mispayments, while the replacement tariff hasn't started. We can't turn that mismatch into one current recovery price, or assume recovery is free until then. Ask Confirmo which agreement and fee schedule apply to your account.

The calculator uses only the earlier Irish invoice reference, 0.8% processing and 0% own-settlement, before the extra costs listed at the top of this review, so its annual figure isn't a full bill or a saving.

What does a $10,000 month look like?

Say a hypothetical shop takes 100 orders averaging $100. That's $10,000 of sales and $80 in the included processing charge, leaving $9,920 before the other costs. Dollars are just a reference unit here, not a conversion quote or a claim that this Irish account receives dollars at a bank.

The curve repeats the same Irish 0.8% and 0% reference. A flat line shows only the included fees, not the full bill, and changing order size doesn't change that.

Confirmo
Effective fee · $10,000/mo

Our fee calculator guide explains partial inputs. The BitPay fee breakdown and CoinGate fee breakdown give a wider comparison, splitting incoming charges from the cost of receiving proceeds.

Which other costs deserve attention?

The conversion quote is the first gap. A changes how much one currency buys, and Confirmo's customer-price methodology includes one without publishing a percentage. Automatic conversion has no execution fee of its own, but it may still carry a spread.

The customer also pays a dynamic network charge for consolidating the payment, including a risk margin, and it doesn't automatically reduce the amount credited to you. Recipient-payout network estimates have their own risk margin, and settling to your own crypto wallet has its own network-cost terms. Compare what the buyer sends with what you finally receive, so you don't subtract a published fee twice.

A hypothetical recipient payout of 1,000 units at 0.5% costs five units in service charge before its own extras. It doesn't automatically join the shop's invoice month as an $85 bill. Match the operation and currency before you add anything together.

Refunds, payment exceptions, recovery and abandoned accounts can each carry a charge or an amount Confirmo keeps. We couldn't find a complete onboarding, monthly, support, partner-bank or account quote for your business.

When can you use your money?

A credited balance sits inside Confirmo until it's paid out to your bank. The Irish crypto-settlement cycle has an 08:00 business-day cutoff, with broadcast usually within four hours, subject to checks and operating conditions. Broadcast means the transfer has been sent to the network; confirmation follows. None of this tells you when euros reach a bank.

For bank funds, the same policy uses payment-service partners. Its automatic conversion rules turn qualifying leftover crypto balances into EUR between 23:00 and 23:15 after the end-of-following-business-day trigger. That gives you a euro balance, not a started bank transfer or an arrival deadline.

A transfer needs an approved destination, and minimum balances, fees, information requests or network incidents can stop it. The customer's payment, your balance credit, the transfer instruction, its release and the money arriving are all different steps. We couldn't find a universal bank minimum, a complete quote for bank transfers or an arrival promise for the account you'd open.

Is Confirmo licensed, and what does that protect?

The Irish company has an older official authorisation record, and you need to match its permission to the service you want. Our Central Bank of Ireland check still carries its 26 September 2026 verification date. The later 11 October AFM entry lists Irish-based cross-border crypto exchange and transfer services into the Netherlands under Article 65, but doesn't verify PSD2 permission or refresh the Irish record.

On 15 October, Confirmo's legal page listed Irish crypto-service authorisation and payment-institution permission for electronic-money-token transfers. That's Confirmo's own claim, and narrower than a promise covering every bank service, product or country. The UAE company's published application is still only an application, and it says plainly the company isn't authorised to conduct virtual-asset activities there.

The verification flags in the table below come from the older official record. They aren't new government checks from 15 October, an approval of your merchant activity or proof that every product has the same payment permissions.

  • Crypto-Asset Service Provider (MiCAR), Confirmo Limited

  • VARA VASP licence application (not held, not authorised), Confirmo FZE
    AE (Dubai)ATI/11/25/015Claimed, not checked

A licence is a reason to read the agreement carefully, not to skip it. The company you're contracting with, the service, the countries it allows and how it handles your money all still have to fit your business. This is general information, not legal advice.

Who controls the balance while you wait?

Confirmo handles the assets before settling them, so payments don't arrive directly in a wallet whose spending keys you alone hold. We call that custodial in practice. The Irish Terms say Confirmo isn't an authorised crypto-custody service, while describing temporary, potentially pooled client assets and contractual trust and segregation protections.

Those promises matter, but we haven't independently confirmed any safeguarding, insurance or insolvency outcome. We couldn't find a rolling-reserve policy, so we can't rule out a held balance.

Plan for a held balance

Get the normal settlement route agreed, find out how holds work, and have a contact who can help when your available balance doesn't match the sales your shop shows.

If direct control matters most, our BTCPay Server review explains what running checkout with your own signing wallet involves. If you'd rather have a managed service, compare contracts using our Coinbase Business review, and don't treat either brand's wallet language as enough protection. This is general information, not legal advice.

Which coins and networks should you offer?

Confirmo's PSP page advertises USDT on six networks and USDC on five, including BNB Smart Chain. The Irish settlement table lists four USDC networks and leaves out BNB, so what you get depends on the product and receiving direction.

Subscribe advertises its own USDG networks, which don't apply to ordinary checkout or payouts. Its product page also has repeated network lists that don't match. And a listed token and network isn't independent confirmation of issuer compatibility or permission for your account.

Make the buyer's choice obvious: coin, network, exact amount and invoice status all matter. A customer holding USDT may not hold it on the network offered at checkout.

We'd favour a short list of confirmed options over a catalogue claim. Our Crypto.com Pay review compares the customer journey if wallet participation matters, and the Coinremitter review covers a crypto-only balance with no bank receiving service.

How much work does setup and order handling take?

Confirmo publishes a website interface, emailed invoices and ready-made HTML payment buttons, plus an for a more integrated checkout.

The WooCommerce and Shopify mentions we found give no sign of a maintained package, a supported version or a working installation. We haven't verified plugin compatibility or sandbox availability, so get Confirmo to explain how it works with your platform before you pay for a new shop build.

Decide who handles expired invoices, pending payments and wrong amounts, and keep the invoice identifier with the order so whoever does your books can match the sale, the balance credit and the later transfer.

What happens to late payments, mistakes and refunds?

The Irish invoice policy starts with a 15-minute window for fiat settlement or 30 minutes for crypto settlement. Optional five-minute extensions can reach 60 minutes, with a new quote, so the original exchange-rate promise doesn't carry on. Confirmation and compliance conditions still apply.

A payment that's short, too large or late is an invoice exception. The Irish Terms describe a 30-day window from invoice creation. After that Confirmo has no obligation to resolve or refund it, and a non-refunded-exception charge applies.

Sending the wrong coin or using the wrong network is a mispayment, handled differently. Recovery is manual and discretionary and may be impossible. The Terms give no guaranteed recovery time and already contain the USD 100 clause covered above, so don't assume a price until you know your account version and the network costs.

An ordinary refund for a cancelled sale is a new crypto transaction at the exchange quote and fees when it's executed. Confirmo doesn't return the original processing fees, and a small refund may be refused when its costs would eat the amount. Don't promise a customer the original coin amount, an instant refund or a card-style reversal.

A mistaken payment isn't an ordinary return

Ask the customer for the invoice and transaction details and go through Confirmo's official support channel. Don't promise recovery or a release date while anything is still open.

Can Confirmo collect subscriptions automatically?

Confirmo has announced Subscribe, an automated stablecoin subscription product. It says customers approve each subscription once through a scoped smart contract, the on-chain program that carries the permission, which limits collection and allows cancellation. Those are Confirmo's claims, not an independently audited result or something we've tested.

The July launch announcement describes recurring collections from self-custody wallets and exchange accounts. September's announcement says Arbitrum support is live and adoption has expanded beyond its FTMO pilot. The product page still includes a future-tense design-partner testimonial. Confirmo says it has launched, but your own access is unconfirmed.

If you run a membership or software business, ask Confirmo how customers fund a subscription, what balance or allowance they need, how cancellation works, whether your account is eligible, and which agreement and tariff apply.

Sending regular payments from your business is a different service. The Payouts page advertises scheduled and standing orders, but the Irish policy's recipient scenario describes each confirmed transfer as one instruction with no standing schedule. Ask which product and agreement would give you the scheduling you need.

What are support and user reviews like?

Confirmo publishes ways to contact it, but we haven't measured how fast or how well it answers. The Irish Terms give support@confirmo.net, and Checkout advertises 24/7 support and responses within 24 hours, including Slack. Ask which channels come with your account and who deals with payment problems outside your own working hours.

Formal complaints go to complaints@confirmo.net or the published postal address. The Irish policy provides email acknowledgement within one business day, postal acknowledgement within seven business days, a five-business-day completeness review and a decision within 60 days, with the extensions it lists. Those are policy commitments, not measured service levels or a deadline for a refund, recovery or release of funds.

Trustpilot's confirmo.net profile showed 215 reviews with its rating withheld when we checked. Trustpilot says reviews were removed for a guidelines breach. Visible feedback comes from customers who paid merchants and from people going through recovery: some praise support or returned money, others describe delays and trouble with recovery. They're unverified user reports, not a study of how often merchants have problems, and we make no finding about individual allegations.

We don't fold older review counts or Trustpilot's confirmo.com profile into a current score. Use the reports to ask Confirmo about held payments and small mistaken transfers; its own uptime and longevity claims don't replace that.

Pros
  • The Irish tariff prices collecting payments and moving your own balance apart.
  • Checkout offers invoices, website buttons and an API.
  • Euro receiving, if you're approved, suits businesses that don't want to handle every customer's coin.
  • Recipient payouts and the announced subscription product cover different business needs.
  • Public Irish terms explain mistakes, balance handling and formal complaints.
Cons
  • The percentage leaves you without a full quote, a bank bill or a date to plan cash around.
  • Upcoming schedules and the posted recovery wording leave it unclear which version applies to your account.
  • Confirmo holds your balance, so payments don't go straight into a wallet only you control.
  • Its country, industry and coin pages are marketing, not approval of you as a merchant.
  • We couldn't find out whether its plugins are maintained, whether there's a sandbox or how good support is.
  • Trustpilot withholds its rating, and the visible reports aren't a clean sample of how reliable it is for merchants.

Which alternatives deserve a closer look?

Compare alternatives by the problem you need solved, once you've checked your company can use them. Each depends on approval.

CoinGate is worth a look for a company in one of its listed countries that wants managed checkout and euro receipt. The US and UAE aren't on its merchant-country list, and a listed country still needs account and activity approval. Its Standard 1% comes with an unpriced quote risk margin and its own receiving and refund conditions. USDT isn't in its current merchant-acceptance catalogue. See our CoinGate review.

BitPay can suit a US or Canadian shop that qualifies and wants managed checkout and bank settlement. New EEA, UK and Australian merchant onboarding is paused, and state, activity and account conditions apply. Budget for its published processing tier, a non-refundable application fee it doesn't price and the cost of your receiving route. Our BitPay review explains why BitPay issuing a settlement and your bank receiving it are different steps.

Self-run BTCPay suits a lawful, Bitcoin-focused business that can handle signing, software and day-to-day operation. The software charges no processing percentage, but hosting, staff, network and optional partner costs remain. Signing from an external wallet differs from a hot wallet on the server, and a host's shared Lightning wallet receives funds under the host's control. The BTCPay control comparison covers why the setup matters.

The cards show processing or software charges only, for accounts that each need approval. CoinGate's quote margin, BitPay's application fee and BTCPay's hosting and staff costs aren't in those headlines. The card order says nothing about whether you'd be approved or which option is cheapest overall.

How does Confirmo score in our comparison?

The score weighs what we found against the site's published factors. It says nothing about whether you'd be approved, what an unpriced bank route would cost or whether a support request would succeed. A published support channel is good to have but tells you nothing about quality.

Our methodology explains the weights and limits, and the money-related factors stay partial where extra prices aren't known.

Frequently asked questions

Is Confirmo a good choice for a small shop?

It can be, if the shop qualifies for managed checkout and an approved payout route. The Irish invoice percentage is only part of the bill, so get the full quote and bank timing before you count on the balance to pay suppliers.

Does Confirmo charge 0.8% or 0.5%?

Both, for different operations. In the Irish reference tariff, invoice processing is 0.8%, while recipient payouts have their own 0.5% charge plus network costs. Moving your own balance has a 0% service charge before other costs. Don't add the recipient charge to every sale.

Does the calculator show what reaches my bank?

No. It shows the earlier Irish invoice reference and own-settlement percentage only. Spread, network costs, minimums and bank charges aren't in it, so the remainder is what's left after the modelled fees, not money in your bank.

Which Confirmo fee schedule applies in October 2026?

We used the Irish tariff effective 30 December 2025, from our earlier readings. The Irish replacement says 1 November 2026, and the US and SRL documents say 16 October. Which version applies to you depends on your Confirmo entity, agreement and account version.

How quickly will euro sales reach my bank?

We couldn't find a bank-arrival promise that applies to everyone. The business-day cutoff and usual broadcast window describe crypto settlement, and automatic conversion creates a EUR balance. Bank transfers then go through payment-service partners, with minimums, charges and checks still open for your account.

Can I use Confirmo without business or owner checks?

Not under the Irish business terms, which require current information and verification covering the company, representatives and owners, and further requests are possible. A supported country, an industry page or a receiving currency doesn't grant approval, and your activity and licences still have to qualify.

Is Confirmo non-custodial?

Not in the usual sense. Confirmo handles balances before settlement, so payments don't land directly in a wallet only you control. The Irish Terms say it isn't an authorised crypto-custody service and describe safeguards, but we haven't independently confirmed insurance, unrestricted withdrawal or insolvency outcomes.

Can customers pay a subscription automatically?

Confirmo has announced Subscribe, which collects recurring stablecoin payments customers authorise, and a later update says Arbitrum is live. It's a different product from Checkout, and your account's access, funding method and price are still open. We haven't tested it.

Can Confirmo reverse a mistaken payment?

Recovery depends on the mistake and may be impossible. Short, too-large or late invoice payments go through an exception process, wrong-coin or wrong-network payments get discretionary manual recovery with no guaranteed timing, and a normal refund for a cancelled sale is a new transaction at current prices and fees.

Can gambling, forex, adult or VPN businesses use Confirmo?

Not automatically. Approval is account by account, whatever Confirmo's industry pages say, and the Irish terms require lawful activity, any licences you need and its internal country and sector controls. We couldn't confirm adult or VPN acceptance, so get a decision for your own activity.
