Crypto Payments for Prop Trading Firms
Start with Confirmo for your firm's own evaluation payments and approved trader rewards. It explicitly serves the sector, though your Irish account, who may order payouts and the full price still need agreement. Prop firm crypto payouts take more than sending a token. Your firm decides whether a reward is owed, puts up cleared funding and handles trading-rule questions. Then the payment provider checks and sends the instruction. Compare who does what before you promise traders a payment date or pick a headline fee.
We read 21 public primary documents on 16 October 2026, including selected contract clauses, official guidance and two firms' product examples. For BitPay's Acceptance Terms we rely on our reading from 11 October. We haven't opened accounts, sent payments or measured arrival and support.
What does your prop firm need to collect and pay?
Evaluation sales and trader rewards are two different commitments. A customer might buy access to a simulation, while a later reward depends on your firm's agreement. FTMO, for example, describes simulated capital with real rewards that depend on its objectives and terms. That's one firm's model, not an industry-wide contract.[3]
Start with the contract: what the customer buys, which company owes any later reward, and whether you also execute investments, arrange brokerage, hold client money or collect or pay for unrelated firms. A direct merchant account doesn't automatically cover running a payment platform.
Belgium's FSMA warned on 7 March 2024 about paid challenges, simulated trading and firm-controlled commissions in the prop-firm model it described, including concerns about investment-service licensing. That warning is dated and doesn't classify every current prop business worldwide. Your own permissions depend on what you do, not on the simulation label or the provider's crypto licence.[1] This is general information, not legal advice.
- 01
Describe the sale
State the evaluation or simulation service, the access terms and your customer markets.
- 02
Define the reward
Name the company that owes the reward and the review that decides whether a trader earns it. Don't assume every trader has the same employment status.
- 03
Match the payment role
Pick the provider's collection or recipient-payout product, and say whether your company acts for itself or for other firms.
Which provider should you consider for prop firm crypto payouts?
Confirmo is a sensible starting point, if it approves you, because it explicitly markets collection and mass payouts to prop firms.[2] FundedNext's Stellar Instant page also names Confirmo and RiseWorks as reward methods, which shows the product is relevant but not that Confirmo would approve another firm, country or recipient.[8] Our Confirmo review covers the wider business offer.
We'd first pin down the Irish recipient-payout agreement, who can order each payout and the full quote. Other suppliers could work too, but we'd rather make one narrow recommendation than treat every provider with a forex page or bulk-payment feature as a prop solution.
The card uses our global overall weights: cost 25%, fiat 15%, licences 15%, coins 10%, integrations 10%, features 10%, support 10% and onboarding 5%. Its rank and score don't approve Confirmo for prop trading or grade its payout price. See the ranking methodology.
The card covers Confirmo Limited's Irish recipient-payout product, which depends on your signing company, its owners, your countries and what your firm does. The hypothetical example is USD 25,000 of approved rewards split equally across 50 recipients, as explained below, with USD only as the scenario's unit. Still open: the account version, the minimum instruction, the funding debit and what each recipient nets.
Before you count on any number, get a quote that covers minimums per payment or withdrawal, network fees and who pays them, conversion margins, and bank, setup or account charges. Anything not priced is unknown, and unknown isn't free. The card is an illustration. It stops short of a complete payout bill and says nothing about whether funding is available.
Global provider scores do not rank payout prices or establish account or recipient approval.

- An explicit prop-sector offer makes the product worth a look for your own collection and reward needs.
- Its Irish policy keeps recipient transfers apart from settlement to your own account.
- You'd still have to agree the account and tariff version, and its scheduled-payment marketing doesn't change the Irish policy's one-off instruction requirement.
What do the other providers' policies allow?
These are policy cases, not recommendations: they show what permission you'd still need. The table reflects our readings from 16 October 2026, except BitPay's, which is older and marked as such. It takes no view on whether a paid simulation is brokerage, a prize game or employment.
| Provider and role | Entity, people and country | What the policy says | What you still need, and the evidence date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Confirmo: Irish recipient payouts for your own firm's payments | Business clients of Confirmo Limited in the EU and EEA. It checks your company, owners, sector, countries and account. | An explicit sector offer. Whether it accepts you depends on its checks. | Your agreement, approved recipients and networks, and a full quote. Irish Terms updated 2 October 2026.[5] |
| Triple-A: digital payouts for a direct firm or a facilitator | The regional Triple-A entity, your company, your people, your markets and your recipients all have to match. Direct and platform roles differ. | Finance and VASP activity is restricted for both direct merchants and platforms. No prop-specific consent shown. | Acceptance for your purpose, plus a quote. The restriction policy is undated, and its prefunded bulk payout product is a different capability.[9][10] |
| B2BINPAY: Merchant, with WaaS bought as a different product | Its El Salvador AML policy checks clients, controllers and owners. The body excludes US and Canada, though the footer wording mentions the US. | It's unclear whether paid simulations or reward purposes would be approved. | Sort out which entity, product and country apply, since the policy and footer conflict. AML summary revised 9 March 2026.[11] |
| CoinGate: corporate payouts, where your company instructs payments to beneficiaries | UAB Decentralized, for legal-person customers. It checks beneficiary details, purpose, account and payment route. | A payout contract exists. It's unclear whether a prop-firm purpose would be accepted. | Approval of your company and recipients, the price, and how reserved funds are handled. Terms effective 14 September 2026.[13] |
| BitPay: Acceptance, with Send looked at on its own | Whichever Acceptance agreement applies (Inc. or B.V.) and your firm's markets. Send has its own sender and recipient limits. | Acceptance prohibits derivatives. Financial and paid-entry or prize categories have conditions. | Work out your activity category and get product consent. Acceptance Terms effective 1 April 2026, our reading from 11 October.[22] |
| Coinbase Business: your own business account | Its availability help names US and Singapore C corporations and LLCs. The regional agreement, your company, owners and markets still matter. | Its global policy prohibits securities brokers. Some finance and paid-entry or prize uses need written consent. | Your activity category and regional-product consent. Availability alone says nothing about approval for bulk rewards. Policy effective 31 January 2022.[14][20] |
| Rise: unranked workforce or intermediary case | Rise Works Inc. Terms. You'd need to agree the vendor role, your company, the recipient relationship and local availability. | A workforce offering and a method named by one firm. Nothing shows a universal prop permission or a worker classification. | Agree the legal roles, who controls the money, the payout routes and the full price. Terms updated 26 February 2026.[15] |
The reviews of Triple-A, B2BINPAY, CoinGate, BitPay and Coinbase Business go deeper when a policy case fits your model.
How much money must you plan for?
Plan for three different numbers: gross sales, approved rewards and the cost of making each payment. A collection percentage can't price a reward run. Our mass-payout comparison explains the outgoing products, though no comparison can supply sector consent.
Ask who pays a fee and whether it reduces the reward or adds to the funding you need. B2BINPAY's payout documentation covers both possibilities by asset and describes approval states and duplicate-request protection.[12] A tidy list of approved rewards is still unfinished work if the sending balance can't cover the deductions.
When can you promise a reward will arrive?
Promise only what your agreements support; that promise is your firm's. A firm's reward calendar governs eligibility or review, not a provider's transfer deadline. FundedNext's current help has different schedules by model, payout option and purchase or reset cohort, including a 12 October 2026 change, and requires a review before it processes a reward. One generic cycle would misdescribe FundedNext's schedule.[7]
Funding runs on its own clock. Irish Confirmo Terms §§3.2 and 3.9 describe daily settlement of invoice crypto and how payments are handled on the following Business Day. Section 5.9 describes converting a held crypto balance into fiat at the end of the second Business Day, and it doesn't name EUR. The right clock depends on the event and your account agreement, so don't add these together or promise bank arrival from them.[5] Our fiat-settlement comparison covers the wider receiving questions.
Confirmo's replacement Irish fee schedule takes effect on 1 November 2026, still in the future at this review, so it doesn't tell you today's account tariff. A separate US or SRL agreement doesn't become yours just because its schedule date has arrived.[18]
- 01
Firm decision and funding
Record the reward decision on its own, apart from the funding you can reach. Keep working cash back for open items and everyday bills.
- 02
Provider and recipient readiness
Check that the provider accepted the instruction, the recipient's details, the payment choice and the limits. A payment waiting for review hasn't gone out.
- 03
Transfer and usable receipt
Track issued, broadcast, confirmed, credited and bank-posted as different stages. Reconcile each recipient before marking the reward paid.
Can subscriptions automate your reward programme?
Confirmo announced Subscribe's launch on 14 July 2026, describing recurring stablecoin collections under a customer approval with set limits. It doesn't give you authority to debit any external wallet or send standing rewards.[17]
Confirmo's payout marketing advertises recurring standing orders.[19] But its Irish Commercial Policy Scenario B says each confirmed payout is a single instruction with no standing schedule, so work out which agreement covers your workflow before you plan repeat rewards.[6]
BitPay Send works differently again: its guide describes fiat funding and willing recipients choosing how they receive. Approval for Acceptance doesn't carry over to Send, or amount to consent for a prop programme.[21] Our payment API comparison covers the questions for your own systems.
- Agreeing collection and rewards as two workflows makes it clearer who owns each payment.
- Per-recipient records help you tell an unpaid reward from one that's been sent.
- An explicit sector offer gives you a relevant place to start.
- Confirmo's account version, full payout tariff and recurring-payment permission are still open.
- Recipient checks, unsupported networks and held funding can delay a reward you've already approved.
- Even when a vendor sends the money, your firm still owns the reward decision, what it promised customers and the working cash.
Who handles a delayed payout, refund or account hold?
Give the trader one clear owner for the problem. Your firm decides trading-rule questions and the reward. Whoever handles payments follows an accepted transfer up with the provider, and the recipient's receiving service may control the final credit or bank posting. If support can see all three records together, it can say what's pending and who's handling it instead of calling every delay a blockchain problem.
Purchase refunds are a different job. FTMO says its 2-Step initial fee is refunded with the first reward withdrawal, using the original payment method, while its 1-Step and Instant fee rules differ. That's one product's policy, not every firm's promise or a full statement of statutory rights.[4]
For transfers, CoinGate's terms deal with reserved payout-link funds, expiry, possible cancellation and compliance checks as different things. An unclaimed reward, a returned transfer and a denied reward are three different situations.[13] Keep the purchase ID, reward decision, provider reference, fees, destination and status history linked, and look into an uncertain item before anyone decides to pay twice.
Decide who can see recipient information, how support gets a reference safely and who keeps the records if staff or suppliers change. Rise's February Terms allow it to change or suspend service and limit availability worldwide, so a marketing promise is no exit plan.[15] The processor buying guide compares support and exit ownership alongside price.
