Triple-A Review: Fees, Bank Settlement and Who It Suits
Triple-A is worth considering if you want customers to pay in crypto while your business receives local currency. Its invoicing, refund tools and Singapore permissions give an approved merchant plenty to look at. You'd still need a full quote and a workable way to get money into your bank. A small shop may find the published USD 3,000 withdrawal threshold awkward, and the plugin's settlement percentage doesn't price the whole service. We'd compare your offer, cash flow and contract before choosing it.
Triple-A's appeal is getting paid without running a crypto treasury yourself. Whether that suits you depends on your bank and how much you expect to sell.

A credible candidate for approved businesses that want managed checkout and local-currency payouts. Get the full quote, the bank trigger and the agreement settled before committing. Occasional crypto sales may leave money waiting below the withdrawal floor.
- Approved merchants with enough turnover to reach the bank threshold
- Businesses that want invoicing and managed conversion
- Businesses able to review a negotiated payment contract
- Small shops that rely on every crypto sale to pay tomorrow's bills
- Buyers who need a full public price list
- Businesses expecting every Triple-A product in one account
The tiles show what's publicly listed, not an account offer. We couldn't find Triple-A's standard processing price or a full bank currency list, and network, conversion, bank, minimum-commitment and refund charges still need quoting. Unknown isn't free. Any rating is a dated aggregate of public reviews, not a measure of merchant reliability.
On 15 October 2026 we read Triple-A's contract, regulatory, product, help and software pages and the comparison providers' documents. For the AFM workbook and NOWPayments' regional terms we only have an earlier reading from 11 October, because later attempts failed. We haven't opened accounts, installed software, obtained a negotiated offer, moved money or measured support. The examples are hypothetical, and our fee tools leave Triple-A's processing price blank.
What does Triple-A do for a merchant?
Triple-A lets approved businesses request crypto payments and receive funds in an agreed currency. Its checkout page describes managed conversion, a branded payment experience and emailed payment requests.[9] That can suit an owner whose customers hold crypto but whose supplier invoices and accounts are in ordinary currency.
Digital currency payouts start with prefunding and then paying recipients, so they give you no right to debit your customers' outside wallets every month.[11] Multicurrency Accounts is another product, advertising named EUR collection through SEPA, the European bank-transfer system, after onboarding.[10]
| Your job | Product | What to find out first |
|---|---|---|
| Take payment for your own orders | Checkout or payment requests | Approved account, buyer methods, settlement currency and charges |
| Pay suppliers or freelancers in crypto | Funded digital currency payouts | How to fund it, who you can pay, limits, who approves payouts and costs |
| Receive euro bank transfers from customers | Multicurrency Accounts | The named collection account, who can send to it and how money moves on |
| Send money to local banks or wallets abroad | Local payouts | Destination, beneficiary, currency, partner and arrival conditions |
Triple-A's local payout page markets coverage in more than 70 countries and more than 30 local currencies, which says nothing about which bank currencies a checkout account can receive. Ask for an offer that names the service, receiving account and responsible company for each part of the job, especially if checkout, conversion and onward payments come bundled. Our processor selection guide helps you turn that into a brief.
How much does Triple-A charge?
Triple-A's merchant processing price comes from an individual offer. The General Terms, version dated 20 April 2026, put fees in the agreement and charge a shortfall when transaction fees miss an agreed monthly minimum commitment.[1] That means quiet months can cost you money. If crypto is just an extra option beside cards, base the forecast on how many customers will actually use it.
The one published percentage is a 1.0% settlement fee on Triple-A.io's WooCommerce listing. It doesn't tell you the processing, exchange, banking or exceptional charges for any particular account, so we haven't turned it into a universal transaction rate or subtracted it from every sale in the calculator.[8]
Ask for an itemised example using your payment asset, receiving currency and average order, including a slow month, refunds and withdrawal. A low processing rate won't help if a commitment is charged anyway or your balance is too small to reach your bank.
The calculator has no confirmed standard processing tier for Triple-A, so the result below is deliberately unavailable. It isn't a zero-cost estimate, and network, conversion, bank and minimum-commitment charges are left out too.

Order size can't reveal a rate we don't know, so the curve below has no Triple-A price line.

The fee calculator guide covers other providers' published inputs, though a number from another gateway doesn't fill Triple-A's blank.
When can you withdraw money to your bank?
Bank withdrawals have a published USD 3,000 threshold, which can be awkward for occasional crypto sales. It's a bank-withdrawal condition, not a minimum customer order.[5] A paid order can still leave a supplier bill unfunded if your balance is too small to trigger withdrawal.
The help pages disagree at exactly that balance: one says the trigger is reached at USD 3,000 equivalent, another requires more than USD 3,000, successful business verification and correct bank details. You'll need to ask which condition your account uses.[6]
The missing-settlement guide says to allow at least one business day after the trigger, including bank holidays in the countries involved.[7] Plan around when money reaches your bank. A successful sale or a transfer marked sent doesn't pay your next bill.
The help article labelled settlement currencies actually describes 47 currencies for pricing payment requests and invoices, so a customer seeing their price in one currency doesn't mean your bank can receive it.[13] The coverage table likewise labels local payout destinations and timings, not a complete native checkout settlement list.
Changing the settlement currency means asking for another linked account rather than editing the existing one, so settle the currency first. If you want crypto instead, payout activation is required, and a wallet payout that isn't approved doesn't get around the bank minimum.
Some USD payouts may involve a third party. Triple-A's terms link to Veem's disclosures, and Veem's own terms tell the receiving and paying entities apart. Veem's April 2026 acceptable-use policy prohibits gambling and certain sexual materials and services, and puts digital assets under enhanced review.[28] Which payout partner you'd get depends on your account, and Veem's terms don't cover every Triple-A service.
Is Triple-A licensed, and does that protect your money?
Singapore's official MAS entry lists TRIPLE A TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. as a Major Payment Institution for domestic transfer, cross-border transfer, merchant acquisition and digital payment token services. The entry was updated on 16 September 2026 and read for this review on 15 October.[3] That's solid evidence for the named company and services, but it isn't worldwide approval of your business.
Triple-A's footer names Paytop SAS in France, a US company and Canadian registrations. Each is its own permission, to be checked against the company you'd sign with.[25] The Singapore identifier Triple-A displays doesn't appear in the MAS entry we extracted, so it's still the company's own claim.
Our earlier reading of the official AFM workbook, on 11 October, lists PAYTOP SAS/Paytop as a France-based cross-border crypto service provider under Article 65, with Netherlands service starting 15 June 2026. It gives no home-authorisation number or date, and later attempts to retrieve the register failed.[45] That Dutch entry isn't fresh confirmation of every French payment or crypto permission.
The company's US disclosures list state licences, exemptions and applications in progress, and some state entries conflict, so check the current status for your state and service. FinCEN's official guidance of 18 December 2024 explains that MSB registration isn't an operating licence or government endorsement.[37] That's general context, not an allegation about Triple-A. A register we couldn't reach is a check we haven't finished, not proof that a registration is absent.

On protection of your money, the April terms treat digital-token custody, offered only if agreed, differently from pooled settlement funds. They disclose safeguarding exemptions for foreign-entity merchant acquisition and related cross-border transfers, and for qualifying foreign-to-foreign transfers where money isn't received in Singapore. They also describe trust-account loss risks and allow settlement to be withheld for refunds, reserves or investigations. Bank-deposit insurance and full recovery aren't promised.[1]
Ask who controls your balance, which protections and exemptions apply, and what happens during a review or closure; a licence badge won't answer those. Your adviser should read the agreement. This is general information, not legal advice.
Will Triple-A accept your business?
Approval depends on your activity and role as well as your country. The restricted-business policy we read on 15 October treats a merchant selling its own products differently from a payment facilitator serving other merchants. Restricted activities get extra scrutiny and aren't pre-approved.[4]
| Activity in the published policy | Direct merchant | PSP or marketplace |
|---|---|---|
| Gambling products and services | Restricted | Prohibited |
| Off-site adult content and services | Restricted | Prohibited |
| On-site sexual services | Prohibited | Prohibited |
| Financial products and services | Restricted | Restricted |
| Virtual asset service providers | Restricted | Restricted |
A sales page for a trading platform or creator business doesn't cancel those conditions. Explain your products, customer locations and whether you receive money for anyone else, and bring your permits and bank details into the same conversation.
Triple-A's country help prohibits residents of listed countries and territories, including Belarus, Cuba, Iran and specified Ukrainian regions. Not being on the list doesn't approve a merchant or its owners, and the policy can change.[21] This is general information, not legal advice.
Describe what you sell, who receives the goods, where buyers and owners are based, and whose money moves through the account. A platform collecting for other sellers should get its facilitator terms spelled out, and the answer may depend on the product, company or payout partner.
How much paperwork and setup should you expect?
Expect business verification before live use and bank settlement. Triple-A's mandatory KYB help applies to merchants and partners, and KYB is the company paperwork, a different check from the ones on individual payers.
The checklist includes incorporation records, ownership structure, business address, and identity and address evidence for directors, beneficial owners and shareholders holding at least 25%, plus sources of funds and wealth.[15] Gather the paperwork before you fix a launch date, and name someone who understands your ownership structure to answer follow-up requests.
The published verification window is 3–14 business days after all required documents arrive, and it covers notification of an outcome, not guaranteed approval by a particular date.[16] Sort out missing documents, receiving-bank questions and offer conditions before customers start sending payments.
- 01
Agree the offer
Settle which company signs, what activity is approved, which customer methods and receiving currency you'll use, and the full price.
- 02
Prepare the documents
Collect company and ownership evidence, bank details and anything needed for follow-up checks.
- 03
Walk through an order
Ask for a demonstration covering a successful order, an incomplete payment, a refund and the settlement record.
- 04
Assign ongoing support
Decide who watches balances, matches orders to payments and answers customer or compliance questions after launch.
Payers can face identity checks too. One help page says identity proof from the first transaction stays valid while the document is valid, though later payments can still be reviewed.[39] Explain the likely customer journey before someone sends money.
Which coins, networks and shop integrations are supported?
Triple-A markets Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC and USDT, but we couldn't verify a full list of enabled coins and networks. Its network help lists Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, Polygon, Lightning, Solana and Arbitrum, plus off-chain Binance Pay.[14] A network is the chain a coin travels on, so matching the token name alone isn't enough.
The payment-method selector guide shows merchants can choose methods, but not that every named token works on every listed chain. Before you publish wallet instructions, ask for the current coin-and-network list and any restrictions for your account, because a customer can pick a familiar token on a network you can't receive.
Triple-A.io publishes a WooCommerce package in the WordPress directory. The listing shows version 2.0.28, 200+ active installations and testing up to WordPress 6.9.10. Those are details from the publisher and the directory, not our own compatibility results.[8] Older sandbox and subscription-cart changelog entries don't prove current sandbox access or automatic subscription collection from external wallets.
For a custom build, ask what API documentation exists, which version is supported, whether you get demonstration access and who maintains it. Public payout automation shows a sending workflow, not how recurring customer collection is authorised. An API won't manage the project for you.
Can you send invoices and manage refunds?
Payment requests can suit a business that doesn't need a full online checkout. The invoice guide has you select a receiving merchant account and asks for an invoice or quotation for amounts above SGD 1,500 equivalent.[22] Keep that paperwork with the order so the customer doesn't have to explain the payment later.
Invoice links last 30 days, while the plugin advertises a 25-minute checkout rate window.[23] Before delivering, Triple-A's help tells merchants to check for a Good transaction status.[40] A customer's screenshot or an opened return page isn't the merchant's payment record.
Refunds need a customer action too. The dashboard guide describes emailing a claim link and the recipient entering a receiving crypto address; for a local-currency balance, the rate is set when that address is entered.[19] The timing help refers to when the refund starts, with short-payment exceptions, not to when it reaches the wallet.
Overpayment help says automatic refunding is the default and can be disabled. Short-payment handling depends on settings and can include a network deduction. Another page says refund links don't expire. The website disclaimers qualify all that: they impose a 90-day written-claim and documentation condition for overpayments, allow compliance-related delay or refusal, and qualify the returned currency and amount.[2]
Don't tell a customer that a live link means an unlimited claim deadline or that a return will exactly match the original fiat value. Decide who follows up when a refund link has been sent but the money hasn't arrived, since you, the customer and Triple-A may each have a step to take. That's how we read the published conditions on 15 October, not a view on whether they'd be enforced.
What do the contract and customer reviews tell you?
The April terms use an initial two-year term and automatic two-year renewals. Avoiding renewal takes at least 30 days' written notice before the term ends, and termination for convenience also needs 30 days' notice and can't take effect before the initial term expires. Where your own agreement conflicts, it prevails.[1]
Put the renewal date in your calendar, and ask how charges, leftover balances, disputed payments and records are handled when you leave. Our methodology explains why public evidence and operating reliability are judged apart.
Trustpilot showed 3.7 from 418 reviews when we read it, and its indicators said the business replied to 90% of negative reviews, typically within a month.[27] Those are platform aggregates across customer experiences, including consumer payments, so they say little about merchant settlement failures or the support you'd be contracted for.
Triple-A publishes a help centre and support@triple-a.io for payment questions, and its KYB help sends verification questions to account.verification@triple-a.io. Those are contact channels, not response deadlines, so agree any deadline with Triple-A.
How does Triple-A score, and what are its real tradeoffs?
The score is a preliminary comparison of public factors, not a prediction of your approval or payout experience. Unknown prices, capabilities and narrow permissions deserve as much attention as a strong-looking total.
Reviews draw on dated documents and calculations. Scores reflect recorded inputs; account approval, full costs and service performance need separate checks. We haven't opened merchant accounts or made test payments. How we score
- Published checkout and invoice workflows for approved businesses
- An official MAS entry identifies the Singapore entity and its payment services
- A published WooCommerce package gives shop owners something concrete to look at
- Refund and settlement guides lay out useful operating conditions
- No confirmed standard processing price, so you can't compare costs publicly
- The bank threshold can leave smaller balances waiting
- The negotiated commitment and renewal terms need a careful read
- We couldn't find the full bank currency list, which token pairs are enabled or how recurring collection works today
- Refund checks, documents and conversion can change the money returned
Which alternatives should you compare?
Start with eligibility, then compare the service you need. These are three different merchant cases, and none is certain to accept your company.
For an ordinary US or Canadian retailer who wants published processing tiers, BitPay is a candidate. Its current country help pauses new EEA, UK and Australian onboarding and still has state-specific limits, and its merchant terms require account checks and a non-refundable application fee. Our BitPay fee guide sits alongside its published tariff; the fixed charge per order matters for small baskets.
For an approved business in a listed country, such as Germany or Canada, CoinGate offers a clearer published Standard price and euro withdrawal floor. Its country list leaves out the US and UAE, and its terms still require company, owner and account checks. The Commercial Policy adds a risk margin to merchant pricing, and our CoinGate fee guide breaks the percentage out from conversion, banking and refund costs.
If your eligible business wants crypto reaching its own wallet, consider NOWPayments. The regional terms we read on 11 October exclude EU, UK, US and UAE residents or citizens, and persons located in or resident in Russia; later retrieval failed, so that's dated evidence.[46] Its current fee help describes service and network deductions in the default wallet flow, and its optional Custody and partner bank products work differently. Our NOWPayments fee guide explains why crypto in your own wallet isn't yet bank cash.
- 1
CoinGateFor an approved business in a listed country that wants euro payouts
81/1001%- Public Standard pricing and withdrawal floors
- Its account and commercial terms are public
- The US and UAE aren't on the country list, and a risk margin plus conversion, banking and refund conditions come on top.
- 3
BitPayFor an approved US or Canadian retailer that needs a bank payout
73/1002% + $0.25- Published volume-based processing tiers
- The fixed charge per order is easy to check against your order mix
- New EEA, UK and Australian onboarding is paused, and state, activity, application-fee and settlement conditions apply.
- 8
NOWPaymentsFor an eligible merchant who wants crypto paid straight to a wallet
63/1001%- A published default wallet payment flow
- Crypto in your own wallet can suit an existing treasury process
- Dated terms exclude some citizenship and residence groups, verification and network deductions apply, and bank conversion is its own purchase.
Once your company and payout requirements are clear, the wider gateway list helps you broaden the shortlist.
What does the public evidence show?
The evidence is strongest on what each product does. It leaves a full quote, enabled bank and token options, the exact-threshold wording and account-level service commitments unanswered.
